Annual Gala

The annual Gala is the History Center’s signature fundraiser. Funds raised support the preservation of our region’s rich cultural heritage and the History Center’s student and community education programs. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser support an important component of the History Center’s mission – youth education. Serving more than 14,000 K-12 students each year with immersive learning programs, the History Center plays a vital role in ensuring that the children of Tampa Bay have a meaningful educational experience, one that instills a sense of community pride, knowledge of our region’s cultural heritage and an appreciation for the legacy they will leave.

The Gala is presented in an open cocktail party format, allowing guests to mingle, reunite with friends and enjoy lively conversation. With stunning waterfront views of the Riverwalk, Harbour Island and Cotanchobee Park, the Gala features lavish culinary offerings from Tampa’s famed Columbia Restaurant, live entertainment and an open bar.

The 2017 History Center Gala will be held on Friday, November 10th.
