4th of July at the History Center

Celebrate Independence Day at the History Center with $5 admission on the 4th of July for all visitors.
Costumed reenactors representing several eras of American military history will be on hand to interact with guests. Nearly two dozen costumed historical interpreters will depict Civil-War, Seminole War, Spanish American War, and WWII-era soldiers, sailors, and citizens. Interpreters will share hands-on displays of artifacts, uniforms, crafts and music.
Also included with admission is Gateways to the Caribbean: “Mapping the Florida-Cuba Connection,” which is on exhibit at the History Center through January.
All visitors will receive $5 admission to the History Center’s exhibit galleries, with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
