Hailed as “one of the most vivid and moving journals of heroism and suffering,” Johnathan Dickinson’s journal is the first-person account of a shipwreck off of Florida’s Jupiter Island in 1696. Published by Quakers in 1699, this real-life epic tale was republished more than 100 times before going out of print in the late 20th century.
Join presenter Inace Massari for a review and discussion of Johnathan Dickinson’s journal. Copies are available for purchase at the Museum Store. Book Group members receive a 10% discount.
