- First Food: Florida and the Birth of American Cuisine »
The History Center belongs to home school families during our Home School History Days! Children and parents will enjoy a day of hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, tours of the exhibits, and educational resources to take home. Join us on a journey back to pioneer days, as we explore Florida’s Cracker heritage, featuring an interactive storytelling show, “Florida Folk Tales,” by professional storyteller Katie Adams. Children will also meet pioneer-era reenactors; participate in age-appropriate, hands-on activities and games; and explore the museum’s galleries. Space is limited; pre-registration is required.
