Getting to the History Center is easy!

In addition to several parking options in the area you can get to the History Center by streetcar, bus, and boat.

By Streetcar
The History Center is located along the TECO Streetcar Line, right between the Tampa Tribune station (#8) and the HSBC station (#9). The Streetcar runs Monday-Thursday, noon-10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-2 a.m.; Sunday, noon-8 p.m. between Downtown, Channelside and Ybor City. Headed elsewhere after your visit?

By Bus
Connecting at the Marion Transit Center in downtown, you can take the #8 bus to Channelside Dr. and Jefferson St. From, there, it’s a very short walk to the History Center. For a complete listing of schedules, routes and rates, please visit the HART website.

By Boat
Dock your boat at the History Center! Located directly on the water at the mouth of the Hillsborough River, the History Center is accessible by public boat docks located right in front of the Columbia Cafe.

By Pirate Water Taxi
Hop on board Tampa’s Pirate Water Taxi to travel to destinations along the Riverwalk! The Pirate Water Taxi is open from 11:30AM to 10:00PM Sunday through Thursday, and from 11:30 AM to 11:30PM/12:00AM Friday and Saturday and there’s a stop right in front of the History Center!

Cross Bay Ferry
If you’re traveling from St. Petersburg, the Cross-Bay Ferry, running daily November-May, drops off at the Tampa Convention Center, less than a 1/4 mile from the History Center, a five minute stroll along Tampa’s scenic Riverwalk.
