Join the History Center for a 90-minute walking tour of Tampa’s historic downtown. This guided tour highlights the iconic landmarks, colorful characters, groundbreaking events behind what was once the entire city of Tampa, the first economic hub on Florida’s west coast.

You’ll stroll past City Hall, Sacred Heart Church, the Floridan Palace Hotel and even Tampa’s oldest bar, The Hub!

Participants will walk a total of approximately one mile along public sidewalks and brick streets. Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes and attire for walking outside. Guests might also want to bring bottled water on the tour.

The Downtown Tampa Walking Tour takes place at Lykes Gaslight Park, 241 E. Madison Street, Tampa, FL 33602. Walking tours do not meet at the History Center.
