Author Paul Wilborn looks back at the Ybor City arts scene of the 1980s, sharing stories from his recently published collection, “Tales from a 1980s Creative Ghetto.” Wilborn’s tales are rooted in his experiences as part of Ybor’s burgeoning art scene and the characters he encountered as Tampa’s immigrant neighborhood transitioned into a hub for artists, writers and musicians in the late 1970s and early 1980s. 

Designed as an up-close gallery experience, Sangria and Stories includes complimentary parking, a glass of Columbia Cafe sangria and an in-gallery presentation.
