Tampa’s historic Jackson House has occupied local headlines for more than a decade. With research underway at USF and funding from the Vinik Family Foundation the storied former African American boarding house will finally be saved from demolition.
Get an update on efforts to preserve and tell the story of Tampa’s only remaining Jim Crow-era African-American boarding house from the History Center’s Dr. Brad Massey, USF’s Dr. Lori Collins, and chair of the Jackson House Foundation, Dr. Carolyn Collins.
