Hop on board the Pirate Water Taxi with the Tampa History Center’s Rodney Kite-Powell for a waterfront history tour through downtown Tampa.
The Director of the Touchton Map Library and recently-appointed County historian, Kite-Powell will explore Tampa’s evolution as a waterfront, port city, from its first inhabitants and European explorers to the Hillsborough River’s slow transition from heavy industry to a recreational waterfront. Get a different view of Tampa’s waterfront history on this special guided tour.
