Downtown Tampa has come a long way in the past quarter century. Indeed, the last decade alone has seen the completion of the Riverwalk, the construction of three museums, and the residential population triple.
This special Florida Conversations focuses on downtown Tampa’s past, present and future with an all-star panel of urban experts.
The History Center’s Rodney Kite-Powell moderates a panel discussion featuring Santiago Corrada, President and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay, Tom Hall of Tucker/Hall and long-time supporter of the Florida Aquarium, and James Nozar, CEO of Strategic Property Partners, the company behind Water Street Tampa.
Catch up on where we’ve been and where we’re headed as an urban center during the next Florida Conversations.
Florida Conversations is free and open to the public, and is co-sponsored by the USF Libraries Florida Studies Center and supported by WUSF Public Media, and features authors and presenters covering a variety of Florida topics, from politics to fiction, history to environmental issues.
