Downtown Tampa Walking Tour

The History Center’s guided 90-minute walking tour highlights the iconic landmarks, colorful characters, groundbreaking events behind what was once the entire city of Tampa and the first economic hub on Florida’s west coast.

You’ll stroll past City Hall, Sacred Heart Church, the Floridan Palace Hotel and even Tampa’s oldest bar, The Hub!

Tours meet at Lykes Gaslight Park (241 E Madison St). Participants will walk about a mile along public sidewalks & streets. You may wish to wear comfortable outdoor attire and bring bottled water.
