Nature Walk

Learn about the plants and wildlife native to Chinsegut Hill with Jim Davis, director of the University of Florida’s IFAS Extension.

This 2-hour hike covers the uneven and hilly ground around Chinsegut Hill. This activity requires closed-toe shoes appropriate for outdoor activities and enough water for each person in your party. Sunscreen and insect repellent is recommended year-round.

While Hernando County maintains accessible trails, this activity might be too strenuous for someone who has difficulty using stairs.
