DESCRIPTION:In Tampa’s Central Park neighborhood\, a new museum is taking shape across from Perry Harvey Sr. Park on Central Avenue. Curators at the Tampa Bay History Center are set to reveal 500 years of local Black history. Supported by a unique partnership with the Tampa Housing Authority\, this initiative aims to uncover powerful stories and foster a deep connection with the past. \nGET TICKETS \nThe cost is $12\, and breakfast is included. There are 35 free parking spaces at The Portico\, with plenty of metered spaces around the building. In the spirit of urbanism\, we encourage you to walk or ride using resources from the Tampa Downtown Partnership\, Walk Bike Tampa\, HART\, and Coast Bike Share. No membership is required to join us. \nOur new meeting place is The Portico\, a beautiful venue with room to grow. As a social enterprise\, it contributes to our community.
