Museum at Home

“Museum at Home” is a program to serve the community at home, online. Offered free to the public, Museum at Home expands education outside the walls of the History Center and helps us serve more in the community, removing transportation and other challenges. Your gift helps provide teachers with curriculum, parents with homeschooling and other activities, virtual curator-led tours, live education programming, and other museum experiences for our friends and members.

Your charitable contribution in any amount will ensure that Tampa Bay’s rich cultural heritage is preserved and shared for generations to come. For more information, please contact Lisa Perry-Richardson, Director of Advancement, at 813-675-8991 or via email at [email protected]tampabayhistorycenter.org.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsors make it possible for the History Center to offer traveling exhibitions, educational programs for children and adults, and community events.   In exchange for your support, the History Center provides brand awareness for your company via multi-platform media and public relations efforts, exposure to our membership base, and interactions with our daily visitors. Sponsorship opportunities are customized to meet your company’s specific goals and offer varying levels of recognition. For more information, please contact Lisa Perry-Richardson, Director of Advancement, at 813-675-8991 or via email at [email protected]tampabayhistorycenter.org.
Planned Giving
The 1834 Society is the History Center’s planned giving society. The Society takes its name from the year that Hillsborough County was formed by an act of Florida’s Territorial Legislature on January 25, 1834. Donors who make a documented commitment to the Tampa Bay History Center in their estate plans will be eligible for membership in the 1834 Society. Unless you advise us otherwise, we will apply your planned gift toward the Center’s endowment, which will help ensure the History Center’s long-term success. Your planned gift will establish a living legacy and strengthen our ability to preserve regional artifacts as well as ensure that the stories of our past are told to future generations.   For more information about the 1834 Society or to schedule an appointment to discuss your philanthropic objectives, please contact Lisa Perry-Richardson, Director of Advancement, at 813-675-8991 or via email at [email protected]tampabayhistorycenter.org.
