After graduating from West Point in 1915, Polk County native James Alward Van Fleet’s military service spanned more than 30 years, beginning with the Mexican Revolution and continuing through the Korean War.

Hear about the life and times of General Van Fleet, and see artifacts from the Polk County History Center’s recently acquired Van Fleet Collection.
