The Black History Month Reception is on Feb. 28, 2025, at 801 Water St., Tampa. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a reception with saxophonist David Nichols and a cash bar, followed by the program at 6:30 p.m. Keynote speaker Leonard George Jr., Esq., will share his inspiring story. Dr. Rozelia Kennedy will present the Dr. Bernard Lafayette History Award, and Emerald Morrow, an Emmy-winning journalist, will emcee.
