Membership Benefits
Free Admission
Your membership provides you with special discounts and privileges at other local museums and attractions. All members receive the local reciprocal benefits, which vary by organization. Click here for local reciprocal list.
Parking Validation
Validations are good for regular museum hours, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. ONLY. Parking validations are not available for after-hours events, lectures, evening gallery previews or other special events. Daytime black-out dates during community sporting events, holidays and other public special events may also apply.
Museum Discounts
Members receive discounts to both the Tampa Bay History Center museum store and food & beverage items at the Columbia Cafe.
Time Travelers
As a Time Travelers affiliate institution, the Tampa Bay History Center offers all of our members the reciprocal benefits of hundreds museums and historical sites throughout the United States. Reciprocal Admission Deals
Southeastern Reciprocal Museum program (SERM) and the North American Reciprocal Museum program (NARM) are associations which offer reciprocal benefits to other participating museum members at a specified level.
SERM benefits are offered to members of the Tampa Bay History Center at the Family level and above. For a listing of participating museums, visit SERM and click on Southeastern Reciprocal Membership Program, then click on the list of current museums.
NARM benefits are offered to members of the Tampa Bay History Center at the Supporter level and above. For a complete listing of participating museums, visit NARM.
Smithsonian Affiliate
As a Smithsonian Affiliate institution, the Tampa Bay History Center offers all of our members the option to add Smithsonian membership for an additional $20 per membership. Smithsonian membership provides members with a subscription to Smithsonian Magazine as well as free admission, benefits and discounts to participating Smithsonian institutions across the country.

Member Events
The History Center hosts exhibit previews and other special receptions throughout the year as a complimentary benefit for our members. These events offer an after-hours, specially-themed museum experience, gallery access, refreshments and an opportunity to network and socialize. Members also receive discounts on special events, educational programs, summer camps and family-friendly activities throughout the year.
Membership Levels
The Tampa Bay History Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The fair market value of the benefits provided with each membership level is as follows: Associate, $3; Individual, $6; Companion, $27.95; Family, $46.90; Supporter, $87.80; Sponsor, $131.70; Patron, $195.60; Benefactor, $401.60; Founder/Sustaining Founder, $445.50; Corporate Patron, $425.50. The tax-deductible portion is the remaining amount paid for the membership.
