About Janine Quarles Adkins
Janine Quarles Adkins holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts with a focus on history instruction for secondary education. Her professional experience encompasses digital content creation and creative marketing for Abe Brown Ministries, Inc., as well as workforce development and special projects in content development and narrative strategy for the City of Tampa.
With a strong foundation in community programs, curriculum design and instruction, program leadership, a dedicated passion for historical inquiry, and years of experience fostering engaging learning environments, she contributes to the Tampa Bay History Center’s mission by supporting dynamic public programs and exhibitions that celebrate Black history.
