The Tampa Bay History Center welcomed guests to its annual black tie gala on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025. This year’s theme, “Something in the Air,” celebrated Tampa Bay’s civilian and military aviation history while raising support for exhibitions and education programs that serve the community.
Your support helps the History Center preserve and share the stories of West Central Florida through world class exhibitions, school partnerships, lectures, and hands on learning experiences for visitors of all ages. Relive the evening and share your favorite moments by exploring the photo gallery.

A special thank you goes to our returning Gala Chairs, History Center Trustee Duncan Belser and his wife, Jessica. Their leadership and support help make this year’s theme, “Something in the Air: Celebrating Our Civilian and Military Aviation History,” possible, and we are grateful for their continued commitment to the History Center’s mission.
We invite you to join Duncan and Jessica by becoming a corporate sponsor. Your support does so much behind the scenes to preserve the nearly 90,000 artifacts in our collection and to sustain the exhibitions and programs that bring those stories to life. The success of this fundraiser depends on people like you, individuals and businesses who care about their community. With your sponsorship, the History Center can continue protecting and sharing the Tampa Bay area’s past for future generations.
