Tampa Bay History Center to close ahead of Hurricane Helene
TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 25, 2024)—The Tampa Bay History Center will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 26, as Hurricane Helene is expected to make landfall along Florida’s Gulf Coast. A storm surge warning, tropical storm warning, and hurricane watch remain in effect for the Tampa Bay area.
Pending favorable weather conditions, the History Center plans to reopen on Friday, prioritizing safety above all else.
