Archives Awareness Week: Decade of Change: Florida in the 1920s

FreeJoin a lively tour of the Tampa Bay History Center’s Wayne Thomas Gallery with docent Jim Dinsmore on Friday, July 19, from noon to 1 p.m. The program is free and limited to 20 guests.
Free, though registration is required.
Recognizing the need to document and preserve Tampa’s development and unique heritage, the City of Tampa Archives was founded in 1987.
Archives Awareness Week was established in 1992 by the City of Tampa Archives Advisory Committee. During this week, local archives present their collections through exhibits and programs that highlight the value of archives in identifying, preserving, and conserving historical records. Museum hours
The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Child (0-6): Free
Members: Free
**First responders and veterans may receive discounted admission at Visitor Services.
