Archives Awareness Week: Exploring Tampa’s History Through Photographs

FreeSee Tampa’s development over the past century and how it compares with today’s landmarks during a special talk at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 14, in the Tampa Bay History Center’s TECO Learning Center. Along with some hand-picked images from the Burgert Brothers Collection, several previously unseen photos from the 1960s through the early 2000s reveal how Tampa continues to change. Free, though advance registration is required.

Museum hours
The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Members: Free
**First responders and veterans may receive discounted admission at Visitor Services.
