Book Group: “Florida Landmarks, Lodgings, and Legends”
April 20, 2023 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
FreeThe Tampa Bay History Center’s book group will meet virtually at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, to discuss the detailed architectural drawings by Charles Greacen. “Long-time Tampa illustrator and cartoonist Charles Greacen has created a series of iconic images of his adopted city and state,” says award-winning journalist and writer Paul Wilborn. “But he hasn’t stopped there. Each illustration is accompanied by a short essay that offers history, a bit of whimsy, and some of Charley’s own memories to create a unique view of these well-known places.” Register here.
