He will present “A World Without Cigars: Ybor City From 1953-1984,” exploring the social and cultural changes in Ybor City following the departure of the cigar industry in the 1960s. Discover the profound impact of this shift on the community and its legacy.
Your journey through time awaits! Explore local history brought to life by in-gallery historians on selected Saturdays. Presentations are at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Their stories offer more than just a museum experience and are included with general admission tickets.

The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
