Black History Book Club: “Why we Can’t Wait”
We are excited to announce the Black History Book Club launch at Tampa’s Black History Museum on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Sessions will be held from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at 1213 N. Central Ave. These discussions will occur on the last Monday of April, June, August, and October and the second Monday in December 2025.
The June title is “Why We Can’t Wait” by Martin Luther King, Jr.. Visit the Museum Store to buy a personal copy or an eBook from the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library.

The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
