Memorial Park Cemetery Walking Tour

$20The 90-minute tour of Memorial Park Cemetery, established during World War I and dedicated in 1923, honors Black soldiers from the Great War. The 20-acre site holds 6,000 graves from diverse backgrounds. Now maintained by the City of Tampa, it features a mix of modest graves, tombs, and family plots. Notable figures buried include George and Margaret Middleton, Doris and Harold Reddick, James Hammond, Christina Meacham, Zulema Cusseaux, the Arenas Family, and Cyrus Greene.

Museum hours
The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Members: Free
