Book Club: “Mayra” by Nicky Gonzalez
We are excited to announce the next session of the History Center’s Book Club on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
This free event will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Tampa Bay History Center, with the option to join via Zoom. The October title is Mayra by Nicky Gonzalez. Visit the Museum Store to purchase your copy or borrow a copy from the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library.
Join us for a welcoming conversation on Florida’s finest writing. Each month, the group explores a mix of novels, poetry, history, food, and politics. Everyone is invited to take part.

The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
