Celebrate the holidays with laughter at the Tampa Bay History Center’s “History as a Joke: Snow Show.” Join comedians Johnny B, John J. Murray, and Matt Fernandez from the 3 Ugly Mugs podcast, along with the History Center’s Rodney Kite-Powell, for a hilarious look back at one of Tampa’s strangest winter tales.
In 1958, downtown Tampa tried to bring winter magic to Florida, but the Snow Show melted into mayhem. What began as a cheerful holiday stunt quickly turned into a frosty fiasco remembered for all the wrong reasons.

The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
