History Happy Hour: Immigrant Pathways
Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the History Center’s newest permanent exhibit, Immigrant Pathways, during Hispanic Heritage Month. Guest curator Manny Leto will share how the exhibit came together, from researching immigrant experiences and exploring push-and-pull factors to deciding how these stories could be brought to life for museum visitors.
Guests will get an insider’s look at the exhibit development process – and the decisions that shape the way history is presented. Your ticket includes one drink to enjoy during the program.
Advance tickets are required. History Center members save 15% on History Happy Hour event tickets and should log in before purchasing to apply the discount.
Manny Leto is the executive director of Preserve the ‘Burg, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting St. Petersburg’s historic places, neighborhoods and architectural character. He focuses on historic preservation, community engagement and thoughtful growth, working to build support for preserving the city’s distinctive identity. As executive director, he leads the organization’s advocacy and educational efforts, including walking tours, lectures, panel discussions and community events, and works with residents, neighborhood associations, local nonprofits and elected leaders to guide St. Petersburg’s growth with its history in mind.

Museum hours
The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
