Invisible Immigrants Gallery Tour

This 20-minute Invisible Immigrants tour meets in the Wayne Thomas Gallery on the 4th Floor and explores how Spanish workers and families reshaped Ybor City’s neighborhoods, organized labor movements, and introduced lasting cultural traditions that still influence Tampa and beyond. Featuring more than 300 family photographs, documents, and personal artifacts, the tour presents the personal stories behind the cigar industry, mutual aid societies, and everyday community life. Recommended for family and adult audiences.

The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
