Nell Ward Lecture on Cartography: Adding Further Dimensions

Matthew Edney, Ph.D., is this year’s speaker for the annual Nell Ward Lecture on Cartography. Dr. Edney’s talk will showcase dozens of maps explaining the basic techniques for how they were printed and colored in the mid-1600s and how that technology advanced through the 19th century.
This lecture begins at 6:30 p.m., and it is free thanks to the generous support of Nell Ward, though registration is required.
Stay for a book signing following the talk and Q&A session. Complimentary valet will be available.
