Oaklawn is the final resting place of many of Tampa’s pioneering families, 13 mayors, one Florida governor, two Florida Supreme Court justices, and the framers of five state constitutions. A section of the cemetery was set aside for those who were marginalized, including enslaved individuals, individuals from a variety of Indigenous communities, and others, with public funds allocated to ensure dignified burials for those in need.

eTickets will be emailed to you upon completion of your purchase. Please meet at the entrance at 606 E. Harrison St., Tampa, FL 33602, for the walking tour. Reservations are required, and space is limited. Paid street parking is available on E. Harrison Street, and you can use the ParkMobile App to pay for parking.

The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
