Discover the captivating story of how Tampa navigated the era of Prohibition, exploring its origins, inventive strategies, colorful personalities, and enduring impact. Delve into a world where every stratum of society, from housewives to rumrunners, moonshiners, saloon keepers, cops, and judges, played a part in this transformative period in our history. History Center docents Shelley Blood, Carl Zielonka, and Janet Lorenzo lead this course on Sept. 25, Oct. 2 and 9 from 10 a.m. to noon. Sign up today through OLLI-USF and join via Zoom.
