Thee Mighty Pi Iota

80 Years of Omega Brotherhood and Service
Celebrate 80 years of service, scholarship and community with the Pi Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Members will share the history of the fraternity and its Tampa chapter while exploring the organization’s four cardinal principles: manhood, scholarship, perseverance and uplift. The program features historical testimonials, live music, recognition of Pi Iota Chapter Lamplighters and the presentation of the 2026 Griot Award honoring a fraternity member who has helped preserve Black history.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a mixer with live music and refreshments, followed by the program at 6 p.m. Join fraternity members and the community for an evening celebrating 80 years of history, achievement and service.

Museum hours
The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
