At the same time, Mediterranean fruit flies attacked citrus groves, and the state’s brutal convict-leasing program ensnared thousands. Downtown Tampa Walking Tour

Learn about Tampa’s compelling history on this guided trek as you stroll past City Hall, Sacred Heart Church, the Floridan Palace Hotel, and even Tampa’s oldest bar, The Hub! Advance tickets are required, and each tour is limited to 25 participants, who will walk approximately 1 mile. Please wear comfortable shoes and attire for walking

The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

**Galleries are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and open until 3 p.m. on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
